TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The FIN Atlantic International Film Festival (AIFF) in Canada has been slated to screen Iranian short flick ‘Adjustment’.
The 15-min ute film, directed by Mehrdad Hassani, will compete at the 42nd edition of the Canadian event.
‘Adjustment’ tells the story of little kid who has been shamed and pushed away by his family and friends. Having been through variety of ordeals and with a messed up mind and identity, Shahrokh, must face the people of his village and show up in the class before his classmates.
The main cast members of the flick are Mansour Nasiri, Moeen Asoudeh and Fatemeh Moradi.
The short film has already participated in a number of global events, including the aGLIFF filmfest in the U.S. and the Oscar-qualifying Busan International Short filmfest in South Korea, where it grabbed the Grand Prix.
The AIFF is an eight-day celebration of film and media with regional and international talent. It accepts stories that reflect the human condition through drama, comedy, action, and documentaries. It’s also a chance for filmmakers and fans to exchange thoughts on the creative process and technical aspects of movie making.
This year’s edition of the fest is set to be held on September 15-22.
