Iranian short film ‘Adjustment’ has been scheduled to take part in the INTERMFILM 38 International Short Film Festival Berlin in Germany.
The 15-minute film, directed by Mehrdad Hassani, will compete at the International Competition program of the 38th edition of the German event.
‘Adjustment’ tells the story of little kid who has been shamed and pushed away by his family and friends. Having been through variety of ordeals and with a messed up mind and identity, Shahrokh, must face the people of his village and show up in the class before his classmates.
The main cast members of the flick are Mansour Nasiri, Moeen Asoudeh and Fatemeh Moradi.
The short film has already participated in a number of global events, including the aGLIFF filmfest in the US and the Oscar-qualifying Busan International Short filmfest in South Korea, where it grabbed the Grand Prix.
Launched in 1982, the INTERFILM Berlin is the first short film festival to include short film distribution and - after the Berlinale - the second oldest Berlin film event.
The event hosts a film market and numerous competitions and seminars, many representatives of the short film industry and festival directors.
The upcoming edition of the German film event is set for November 15-20, 2022.
